Google plus profile authorship

Hello everyone,
When we do a Google search, we see results with author name and profile for blogs. Seeing the google profile along with the search results gives us a feeling of authentic information. Why this only for blogs, I am trying to configure this for my forum as well. Nowadays, Google authorship is the most important for blog. Every blogger should add Google authorship tag in their blog.
And Google publisher tag is vital for site. Every site owner needs to add publisher tag in site.
