Google Search

When i search for Steel Adverts on google, nothing comes up with my forum.

How do i get it so when i search with google, something comes up!

Give it time... The bots will find it and it does take time to search it and index it.

I see, also, the board title is Forum Promotion. Mine is blank because under board settings in the ACP, i dotn have anything there since i have a banner.

Can someone tell me how to add my title?

You can still add your forum name as it shouldn't (to my knowledge anyway) show on your style.

Should put those keywords in, but doesn't guarantee your site will be found while searching. That comes down mainly to backlinks

Is your title (The one you placed in the ACP). And well, when I view your site I see "Steel Adverts • Index page" so I don't think you have a problem.

Try this

This has the Meta keywords from Gamerouts post and i have removed the bit which places the site name and description from the banner area so if you now replace the contents of the overall header template file with this then enter a site name in the acp it shouldn't show in the banner and it should show in the browser bar or tab.

Judging by the amount of posts your forum is pretty new so don't expect google to find it overnight.

Few things to do:

1) Submit it to google: http://www.google.com/addurl/

2) Make and upload a sitemap: www.xml-sitemaps.com will do it for you

3) Submit your sitemap to google at their webmaster section: www.google.com/webmasters/

4) Wait.

I would try to be just active- I have bots go on my site daily, and so far my keywords are very specfic- The specfic ones are easier as I got first result when you type it. Edit Robots.txt but thats the only thing I know about it.
