Well I've added everything correctly, even to the htaccess, yet I still get this message.

I am trying to install google SEO to my forum that is hosted on Mybb

You have to copy and paste everything into the .htaccess file correctly. If it says at the top, put it at the top etc. Also make sure the .htaccess is named correctly and in the public_html or in the directory of your forum.

From that screenshot, they have not been added to the .htaccess file.

is .htaccess in the root directory of your forum?

That was the problem, it was named htaccess.txt and not .htaccess.
