I might use Google+ if most of my friends, family, or other people I know uses it. But, I think I stick to Facebook and Twitter for now.

I'm already using it and I gotta say that it looks and works pretty well.

There are still some problems with the "Hangout", but hopefully they'll get fixed soon.

Anyway, for now it's not so much fun since it's not open, but once Google will open the registration...things will change drastically.

Anyway, Google+ is a breath of fresh air, even though the UI looks too much like Facebook...

Cheers! :great:

Yes I would join Google+ when I can get on it. Would I use it? most likely once I can actually test it out for myself.

Looking forward to being able to do that 😀

I probably will not. Twitter and Facebook are enough.

I wonder what will happen to Google's http://www.orkut.com/ social network once Google+ is launched for public use instead of just invite only.

Will Orkut be abandoned like Google Videos once Google+ comes out?

Already using it. It's pretty good, but it's a little hard to navigate around things.

It will be successful for one reason: Your parents aren't on it yet.

This. lol

But yeah, it does look interesting. If I were to get an invite I'd probably join it, but not much to do unless you know people who are also on it. Facebook is just. . .ugh. These days I put more effort into Twitter than Facebook. I can tweet something and have nobody see it just as easy as I can post a Facebook status and have nobody pay attention to it.

Sorry Google, but you're not going to beat Facebook, which Google+ is basically just a polished version of.

My parents don't use the internet.

I saw on the news that parents these days like to keep track of where their kids go online to prevent them from talking to untrustworthy people, so it might not take long for Adults to be on Google+.

Plus, Google+ would probably not be just be exclusive to College students like when Facebook started up. Google+ also might get a lot of coverage from YouTube, blogs, newspapers, magazines, and TV News since it is made by Google, so it probably won't take very long for kid's parents to know about G+, and join.

I think older people might be more attracted to Google+ since Facebook now has a lot of teenagers to college kids like when Myspace was still ran by Tom Anderson and not Fox/News Corp, flash games, and groups like "Planking Australia, pop bands, etc" which are mostly for teenagers to young adults while a large percentage of adults in their 40s-50s don't play flash games, care about planking and teenage trends, and don't listen to teen music like Taylor Swift.

Google+ seems more like a competitor to LinkedIn which is a "Employment, Job Networking, and Career focused Social Network for 20 somethings or older professionals who are still working" rather then a "Social Network to hang out and make plans with friends like Facebook, Myspace, etc."

Anywho,

I can't get on 🙁 It won't let me

I got an invite, but it sais I'm underage, when I have never tried to use it before.

You have to be 18, and as far as I'm aware, I don't have any age set on my GMail account.
