Google just completed a pagerank update. My new site is just a PR1 as all back links have not been picked up by google yet this round, but we will see. Also had many inner pages get a pagerank as well during this update so I am pleased.

All picked up a PR1 in a little over a month of being open so I think that's a good start.

You can check your pagerank here: http://prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php

Did you go up or down? What are you at? Share!

Good stuff there, google loves blogs and you found some pretty good backlinks that must have been registered quickly.

I was hoping mine would get registered faster but google is taking it's sweet old time. But I'm glad to start off with a 1, I wasn't expecting an update until the schedules one in July. Hopefully by then all will be registered and the PR will jump significantly.

Gone up to PR 2, should creep up to 3/4 next time round when I start link building.

You should perhaps redirect your non dub dub dub to your dub dub dub domain or the other way around?

Well, my forum isn't great, but i did follow your PR building tutorial you had posted elsewhere, Whaturmuva, trying to go back and find it, so i can +Rep ya for that one.

And, I'm a tiny proboards forum, but i have been getting my site evrywhere possible, checking PR's of those sites, and top forum listings, which my members vote everyday, and we're on the first page of about 8 PR3-4 top forum listings.

We hit a PR2 , yesterday 🙂

Speaking of proboards forum, you didn't have a real domain for a long time. Go back and change the links that are directed towards the .proboards link, to go to your brawldomain.com link, and your SERP will be even higher.

I actually searched my username, and topic title i used to for use for advertising, searched them on google .. and went down a LONG list of old forums i advertsied on, and updated my sig, as well. Even on dead forums, i was THAT cautious. But, there's still probably dozens of sites i didnt come across from the past.

even went back to all my affiliates i advertised on, and changed my url, and got them to update my button.

I'm gonna widen my search paramteters, and try and get the rest of those taken care of. But, my first Ad forum, which was HUGE, closed down, and was deleted, so i can't get on there, to find those forum's i advertised on 🙁

Well you're obviously doing ok, so if you've already altered the old... then move on with the new.

Thanx , bud! I actually just started searching Google, with both of the old urls, to see where all they have been placed.

And i just found out one of my higher back link sites, that uses my old url. YOUTUBE. I forgot, i have uploaded over 100 videos from my forum, and never went back to update the new url in those video's descriptions.

On my way now! 😀

Thanx for all your advice!

Nice, I went from a PR of 0 to 3 in two months of my sites existence: http://teccahigh.com

I actually haven't been doing too much backlinking either. I'll start doing that a lot more, and check out the improvement next time.

Awesome, Bro! I thinmk it's cause of your updated conntent and news, you keep adding to the Home Page, is what keeps your stats high.

A PR3 is very impressive in your short time.

I just learned about pageranks about 2 months ago, and never understood them. But, started paying attention to the tutorials on here, and made my goal to get at least a PR1. And did even better than i expected.

I'm at PR 1 currently for one of my domains, first domain of mine to get PR -happy-

hcfwesker, It seems to me you are maybe stretching out a bit too fast, don't over do it. Remember, it needs to look genuine, if your bounce rate goes up, with loads and loads of links this month and none the next plus lots of other factors, you could get penalized.

Yea, the lovely sandbox effect. Have to really pace yourself when advertising. Slow and steady wins the race.

I'm not gonna lie, i gave up on changing my old links on youtube. It took too long, i gave up after about 20 or so. Maybe I'll do more after about a month.

Thanx for the advice. I really know nothing about the details on how this works. ~cool~
