If your wanting 15k for it then you might be lucky to get that if the site earns 15k per year profits. This is how many sites are valuated. Members and page views etc can all be faked with Blackhat ways.

I dont know what BlackHat technique you are talking about. But from Oct 25th to Nov 1st, 39% of the traffic is from search engines. (while lots of URLs are yet to be indexed).

Why the valuation is high ?

This is the Google Wave related domain having the largest user-base on earth. Show me one which has more registered user than us. There is no point in comparing this site with other Webmasters forum or Game forum. The sites you are comparing with are not the leader in their own domain. So the valuation wont match. Google Wave Community has its existing user base, which will only increase with time, where you can sell wave apps (details from mashable), sell developers details, sell wave enabled gadget (details from mashable).


I never said that I'm not selling the domain for USD 15K. I said you may get the hosting side for a rent per annum and that would obviously be far lower than this asking price. By the way, the current offer I have is USD 3K. USD 15k is the buy it now price, i.e. I wont go for any more bidding if someone offers me this amount.
