First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
The Banner is definitely amazing, and the blood dripping effect is utter briliance, that also is complimented with the forum's background, and blood splatter around the forum.
I really, love the gore in the background, and the blood spattered pattern you got going on outside of the forum body. Though, I'm curious, cause it would have looked even better, if you could had that going all across the background. Instead of just a solid red behind the board's background, see about getting a different background image; that has little blood splatter patterns on the inside as well.
The colors you've chosen for the test, and links, I'm not too fond of. They just seem really bright, and kinda strain the eyes a bit. It coulda probably still worj with the Orange text links. But, I would se about changing the Yellow text to something softer, like maybe just plain white. Give it a test, and see if it makes it look a little less bright.
One thing that really looks out of place. Is above each category. Forum / topic/ posts / last post. They look like text titles just kinda sitting there. They should have a different category background color other than red, so it sepeartes itself from the red background.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
Even though I can see what you were trying to achieve, by starting off with the horror discussions, I still feel your Announcements category should always come first on the forum. You want memebrs to immediately know of any updates to the forum as soon as they log on. I also urge, if you do this, to place your Introductions board under the Announcements board, if you move any of them.
Your content on horror discussion is superb. Everything is well organized and easy to find. Though, I think Horror News & Rumors should be placed up higher in this section, maybe just below the General Horror Discussion board.
I really have no idea why a category just for Paranormal Dicussions is all by itself with one board. This may could actually fit in with the horror section. I know it's not about blood and guts, but paranormal stuff is scray, sense they usually are refered to as "SciFi/Horror".

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
It's really great to see how active the horror sections are. They're the most active section on your forum. Which should be obvious, but most forums I venture on, their most active sections are the off-topic/forum games section. So, major props for that.
One thing that gets me, cause I liek to vchekc in from time to time. But I notice you'll advertise the site, maybe do some exchanges, or packages, get a few active memebrs, then stop advertising. You need to always be on the lookout for new members. Just because a few members are posting, evetually they'll give up when not a lot of fresh faces are around to talk with.
Other than that, I'm thoroughly impressed with how far your forum has succeeded over the months I've been watching it.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
Your staff seem to really support the forum and are always active. Even if it is just you and one Global Mod. You borth seem to be handling the forum quite well. One thing that just seems out of place, are the extra member groups at the bottom. are they all really necessary. A couple didn't even have members in those groups, unless they're already staff.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
Everything looks really good. Nothing mush to comment on, unless you really want me to nit pick. So, here it goes.
Horror Art and Literature board description.
Books, scripts, paintings, drawings etc... <---- drawing should have a comma after it.
Books, scripts, paintings, drawings, etc...
And, there's no need to add ... at the end of your board descriptions. The sentence is over. It's not like it's "to be continued ..." or anything. I only noticed these in a few, but really should be changed to proper punctuation.

Final Remarks:
What was most liked about the website/forums:
The banner, and the blood dripping effect. It's a very ingenious concept, and perfect for the theme of this forum.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
To contradict the above, the background. Not the blood splatter around the forum border, but when you scroll ; the inside of the forum body just looks like a full red background. Was really looking foward to seeing that creative style, implemented in with the forum's background as well.
How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website?
I've been a memebr for quite a long time. But, today's horror movies has killed my love for the genre. I'm still a classic horro fan, and would like to dive into those discussions. I'm hoping soon when I get a chance, I can try and migrate around alot of these great forums I've been missing out on. As for guests, and horror fans joining? As soon as they find the site,. and see what it has to offer, they'll have no problem in registering, and getting involved. Just have to make sure to keep activity up, get involved with daily, or weekly post exchanges to help keep members, and discussions fresh with new faces to the forum.
