Now I wish I could tell you how I did it!

I went from 25 unique visitors for the past 3 - 4 days to almost 50 unique visitors yesterday.

I'm so happy. I'm glad to be getting more visitors.

The only 2 things I did that I didn't normally do was created a Twitter Account, and Linked to the appropriate link that's relevant to particular questions on Yahoo Answers.

I will continue experimenting in this promotion / traffic world and find out what works for me but I'm glad I found something that nearly doubled my traffic at least for one day.

(Even if they don't come back, at least I'm being found.)

I want to use Link Referral as a tool too cause I've heard that it works but how do you do it (right)?

All this talk is in relation to my blog @ http://andyssurviving.net

Again, happy with my results from small experimentation. I will continue to experiment with new methods.

Thanks for reading,
Andy...

I'd be a bit careful with Twitter. If you don't have many followers, it could be bot activity that is roaming your site. But still, good work 🙂

Sorry to burst your bubble dude but the reason you had a boost in visitors is Twitter, and that's bots, not people.

On my site i currently have 24 visitors. Now if i published a new article on my CMS and then submitted that article to twitter then my visitors count would go from 24 to like 50 or even 100 within minutes..... they are bots.

@GamerPerfection untrue! If he was to just post the link without using hashtags than yes! It would only be bots when posting topics/ links to your website make sure to use popular and correct hashtags that would draw people in.

Well i had never heard about Hashtags until now, thanks, I'll look in to that for my own site. :great:

However, looking at this guys Twitter page there are no hashtags visible.

To make a hash tag, simple place has (#) in front of a keyword, so for example:
Got double the #traffic to my #blog in one day!

In this example, a page would be made for "traffic" and "blog", which genuine people would be looking at. Also, directly posting a link on twitter can get you genuine people.

FP$ for a follow or follow for a follow on twitter seems to do the trick. 😉
