But I honestly think that sucked. What a waste of 8 years and the whole development of Jon Snow. For that.

I agree that this final season was not good. It was rushed. Dany's sudden change to Mad Queen made absolutely no sense; complete lack of character development. Very few questions were answered about the Night King, his motive, or his interest in Bran. Jon's parentage had no effect on anything, other than making Dany paranoid and getting Varys toasted. And speaking of Bran... King? Really? Jon should have been King, even if it did start a war with the Unsullied. btw why would the Unsullied and Dothraki let Jon live after he killed their Queen? Especially the Dothraki Bloodriders, who would have taken revenge immediately. How is it that so many of them survived the Long Night? We saw the entire Dothraki force rush into battle, and each of their lights went out one-by-one. Like 10 guys retreated.

I just have so many more questions than I did before season 8. The worst part of all, is that HBO wanted 10 full seasons and D&D refused so they could go work on Star Wars! ARGH. I'm frustrated.

At least Drogon survived, and Jon eventually pet Ghost.

I still have not watched even a second of Game of Thrones, but I know a lot of my friends were not pleased with how Season 8 went.

Ellie I agree. Also building on the fact Jon was the prince who was promised, of ice and fire, to have a claim to the throne! For him to bugger off north. Least they didn’t get rid of Ghost in the end. Yeah for Dany to be a “saviour” for 7 seasons and 4 episodes of season 8, to then die like that? They rushed it all. Even the ending with the night king pissed me off. All that buildup!! Bran even said countless times that he cannot be king in reference to winterfell. But he can be king everywhere else? I don’t even care if the stars are upset with this petition, they need to know that the writers destroyed it all. Just going to read the books now and forget about the tv show.
