Has any one ever started a forum on a subject they knew absolutely nothing about? And if so, how did you handle it?

Nope, can't say i've done that yet. However, if I did i'd just fudge it completely. I'd do a "study hall" on the subject, learn everything I possibly could.

Good idea. That way no one would know the difference.

I'm sure some will though, no one is a perfect pretender. Another thing would be to speak to someone who knows more about the subject on MSN, so you can ask questions and take notes (copy&paste) for reference later.

I haven't and i never will. I would prefer to make a forum on something i know. I wouldn't find it fun running and posting on a forum i don't really have a clue about and enjoy.
