The Land Ttransportation Frenchising Board is questioning the legality of Grab and Uber. Previously, they were allowed to operate on a temporary permit but it was not granted a franchise. With the privilege of operating in Metro Manila which has an abundance of passengers, the permitted 7,000 units ballooned to 56,000. And now there is a hanging order to suspend the excess of 7,000 with no permit. This will throw an imbalance in the ratio of passengers and public vehicles.
