For those of us who make/edit images, do you add your tag/copyright to it? I always do. If it's something for a forum, I'll add my name in a language known only to true Star Wars fans, and make it hard to see, but not that hard. If it's a screen-grab from YouTube, I'll add the end of my Myspace URL to it so people don't rip it.

Definitely. Ripping is so common nowadays, as well as bandwidth theft, and so tagging is essential.

Yeah, this is a most, it is like copyrighting your pics without the fee 😛

I never tag my work. If they're stupid enough to steal my work, I'll find them.

I'm starting to simply add my user-name and forum to the bottom of my GFX work.

I usually add my username unless its for someone else. Rippers should actually spend time learning gfx instead of stealing it.

I know some users hide watermarks within the work. Like little squares where other users can't see.

Hm... I might add a bit of transparency to a side, and put the watermark on there. Invisible except on a dark forum. 😀

Isnt there that bot of code where it means someone cant right click the image to get to properties? They could go page source but thats just too much effort.

The no right click code can be easily bypassed.

Even if you can't right click, there is a higher chance that you can print screen and crop the images out unless it is a logo with transparent background. It is much harder to secure copyrights than try to rip contents.
