Hi all,
I wanted to hear your personal thoughts on how to make my website page better.
Am talking specifically for the 'Play online games' page as those games are made by me.
Let me know and here is the page:

Any help on the design of the page?

Hello GSuardon,
You made a nice job! I love the colors you went for, they look pretty pleasant for me. 🙂

I can see that you had many ideas, everything looks great, however you should work a bit on making everything more unified. 🙂

What I'd change...
- As I can see you went for a flat look. Flat design usually doesn't use borders, so if I were you I'd remove the black border from the zigzag part (additionally it's way too dark for your design, if you wouldn't like to remove it, at least shift to a lighter shade. Using pure black (#000) is never a wise choice for designs.). 🙂

- Also, the preview images of the games on the page you linked could be centered, since the textured background behind is centered as well.

- I'd also work a bit on the preview images to make them look a bit more spectacular, more appealing. To begin with, you could add all the game's names on them. Apart from this, for example the cards on the "Find the pairs" preview are having rough edges. A more nicely rendered image would look prettier. Or you could work a bit on the ninja game's preview image. The ninja itself looks poorly resized, the aspect ratio isn't kept. If you feel like it's too much trouble, there are plenty of design forums where you can request free banners to be created, search for one. 🙂

- The "Games" page looks pretty organized, the same advice goes here too, I'd highly recommend lightening the black (#000) parts. 🙂 Since the whole site seems to go for a flat design, the "buttonize" effect for each box looks odd and old fashioned, keeping it flat and simple would make the whole page look more professional.

- (Side note, I'm not entirely sure the site's colors match the rotating cube at the top.)

Just scratching the surface, you made a nice start, hope I didn't sound too harsh and you'll find some of my advice useful. 😀

I tried to play some games but had no luck. There are tons of browser games. Kongregate(copy and paste) has a large collection for sites/blogs, but there are others that will give you the flash file to download. They include install instructions and all that. I download some of them and have just played them offline in my browser. There is a FF plug-in also to use that works pretty good.
