Graphic program to work with .GIF

Anyone knowa good program I could work with .Gif files on?

Free program obv. I can download from da inernet. It could be a trial version but with all options 🙂

Try GIMP.

If trial version is enough, you could try Photoshop.

Just to let you know, there is a plugin for gimp called G.A.P. It is a plugin for doing things such as making a gif image from a youtube video.

My opinion to go with Photoshop. It will helps your more with advance features and more reliability to edit Gif's and more imaging formats.

I used to use the "image to gif converter". It was crude, but it could make banners easily.

Try them both in order to see the difference, but I can tell you right now that one of the major difference between GIMP and Photoshop will always be that one is free while the other is not. Otherwise, they are similar, with only some key differences along the way.
