When I Install my Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 into my Asus M4A785TD-M MB my monitor gives me a 'no sinal' message.

I don't think I'm attaching the power cables correctly... I put the 6 pin connector into the 6PIN slot on the card but then there's a 2 pin connector hanging off. Is this supposed to go into the MB?

If not then what else might be causing this annoying error.

The Tech Crew or myself will surely get you a solution within 72 hours.

Did you disable the onboard video on your motherboard if it has it, and tell your motherboard to get video from the pci-express port?

See if the card is plugged in properly, some people will be very careful and put the card only in half the slot, but don't force it though. Also check if the monitor cable is properly mounted.

You only have to use 6 pins, it's called 6+2 where the other two pins are mostly used for nVidia cards (I think) or more powerful cards.
