Notes?: Each section of my website is going to have a different theme that goes with whatever that section is about. For example I will want a gothic theme for my legacy of kain section, an anime theme for my grandia section and a space theme for my star trek section. This website, along with my forum, blog, possible YouTube Videos and video game reviews is something I want to turn into a career. I can't afford to pay real cash, but if my ideas take off well, perhaps there will be actual payment in the future. Complete credit will be given to the artist and I will forward people to that person if they also want a graphic designer.

You can always use other types of payment, such as posts or advertisement space. Or you could save up FP$ now and pay whoever makes your graphics later.

You should probably specify what size, colour scheme, and text you want for each banner so it's more clear and members here could take a shot of one or all if they're able. Images would be great too, since some of us might not be familiar with the theme you're after.

How do I earn FP then, so I can pay people with that? And yes, I intend to put ads on my website to generate ad revenue, but first the site needs to be built and be getting enough traffic to make it worthwhile.

Well, the theme for the Legacy of Kain section would be dark and gothic, lots of blood and metal. Here's a picture of the Soul Reaver ( http://stickysugar.files.wordpress.com/ ... reaver.jpg ) which would look awesome in the banner, and the font used is Morpheus. There are five games in the Legacy of Kain series and there will be a subsection for each game so there will need to be a banner for those five pages as well as the main page of the Legacy of Kain section. The backgrounds should have lots of black and blood red in them, I think, either a landscape of some kind or a repeating pattern.

The Grandia section will have a mostly green theme. There is a Grandia font that I can send for the banners and I want a repeating pattern of green bricks for the background (another one in blue would be good too). The Grandia games are Japanese and have a very anime theme to it so the theme should be equally bright and cheerful. There are four games in the Grandia series (five if you count the Japanese only sequel to the first Grandia)

The Star Trek section should have a banner that simply says Star Trek in blue Star Trek font, with a repeating pattern of stars for the background. The main colour for the Star trek section will be blue.

The Andromeda section should look exactly like the Star Trek section but in crimson instead.

These are the only sections I want to focus on to begin with, trying to build too many sections at once would simply be impossible so I am doing my favourite ones to start with. I can do the buttons myself if need be, it's the banners and backgrounds I have the most trouble with.

You can earn FP$ by posting on Forum Promotion, but a quicker way might be visiting the Forum Cash Exchange forum. There, you can sell your "services" whether it's posting on other peoples forums, offering your signature for advertisement space, etc. You can look through the topics for other ideas and how to do it.

I think I have an idea of what you want, so I'll try in a bit 🙂

I've generally avoided forums for a long time, usually too many idiots on them, but I get the feeling this place is well-moderated, so I will try to remember to be active 🙂
