Im looking to offer a one of my deals at a really good price. Im looking to offer the following deal (below) for £10.00 for the complete year? Its currently at a discount price of £15.00 per year. With out discount it would cost £18.00 per year. So you would be saving £8.00!

2GB Web Space
10GB Bandwidth
10 Emails
10 Sub-Domains
10 FTP Accounts
3 MySQL Databases
Run Upto 2 Web site

Thoughts?

Well it's cheap in a way I mean $15 euro a month which is around $20 USD isn't too bad, however to pay $20 a year for that you could go to a much larger and reliable company and just pay an extra $10 a year and get more features with a more reliable service (im not saying your not reliable but less reliable yes).

Although that is still cheap but only really for a small website.

Well thats where i was thinking that i would upgrade anyone who took this offer up for an extra £10 and get double. Then from that package an extra £10 for double that package and so on. If you get me?

So in a way if anyone took this deal and wanted to upgrade to another package they would save a lot of money in hosting in a way.

Well that fact that I can get a much cheaper deal which is better in all sections of your host is not a good one

I suppose it is not bad value but most people tend to plan ahead and with the plans you show on your site it seems that there isn't much space to grow. It is only 1/3 through the month and if we were on that plan we would have already past the bandwidth allowance.

if you want to get customers you need to offer people greats plans, great service other people will just go to a bigger host.

Yer thats this place. If people had sense tho when looking for a host they wouldn't pick my top package and go "Oh this package wouldn't suit me" Lol. Ive got a completely new site now and only offering 3 packages with better features!

I am not saying people want to buy the biggest package straight off. This is how my brain works anywa when it comes to hosting.

Lets say there is 3 packages (1, 2 and 3). I would think what site will my site have to use minimum. Lets say for example package 2. I would then think that there is only one package above me that i can upgrade to. That then means that if my site grows i only have a shorter time i can stay here before having to move to another host with bigger allowances. I would then look into another host with a longer upgrade path which means that my site can stay on that host for longer before outgrowing all their packages.

Take FP for example. If we started on your host, we would have had to move off you hosting ages ago after upgrading through all your plans. If we started on Hawkhost, we could start on their basic package, and upgrade through their packages and we can stay with them even up to a VPS if we needed one. We can grow and stay with Hawkhost alot longer then your site. The prospect of moving sites does not excite anyone and people prefer to stay at one host if they can for aslong as they can unless the service is shocking or they need to move.

That is what i meant.

I allow custom deals with my host as i have web space to play with. I could give you what your getting from hawkhost to 😛 But i see where your coming from. Im acutely in the middle of changing the packages.

Going to offer 3 packages only the first package will have 50 emails, sub-domains etc.. the next 100 and the next 200 cause we all know no one will use over a 100 emails and what not on one site unless you was a massive site like facebook. The "Unlimited" word used on website is just like a trick for you to pick them. It just means they don't watch how many features you use.
