Nice to virtual meeting everyone here. I happened on this forum by a google search on how to promote forums. Having a forum to promote forums....what a novel idea.
So I guess I'll ask the question, how successful is this site in forum promotion. Can anyone give me a success story? Please don't take it the wrong way...I'm just curious and hopeful this can help spread the word about my forums.
Welcome to the forum and i hope you get to like it here. You can look through our feedback forum and there are some posts from users. Ultimately your success here depends on what you do here. If you post an ad and run then results will not be good but if you take advantage of exchanges, the services we offer and are active around the forum and build friendships with users and spread your sig then results will be alot better.
Thanks for the welcome. I agree the only way you get productivity out of anything is to contribute. Like the FP Cash idea, I've implemented that on one of my forums and it's slow in taking off. Just need more content and members though....hence the reason I'm looking around.
Will look through here after Christmas and see what tools might be available.

Forum Promotion has been really helpful for my sports forum, which is called "Cmt Sports Forum." My forum has gotten many posts and members because of FP. Most don't stay active, but you will occasionally pick up an active user from FP if your forum's content and design is unique and nice.
