Hi everyone.

Same ole same ole, I have a new forum and just finding ways to promote it(people are scared of new forums lol, no luck even paying people to post on it.)

Anyway, hoping to find some good advice and hear more about others experiences on this forum.

Cheers

I have some experience in crypto and gambling as well as past affiliate marketing experience. Researched the niche to see what was going on, seems some of the bigger sites have forums and some do pretty well. (sportsbookreview.com is a good example, half a million forum members with a peak of 160k online at once, though they were very early established and have like 5m backlinks, cray)

Top affiliate sites in the online gambling niche are extremely lucrative, though ranking for anything is nearly impossible. A single large referral in that niche is about as high ticket of commissions as it gets, some successful affiliates earn five digits in a single month from one large player, not unheard of though it is very rare to get one of the wealthy players like that. So money mostly.

A forum may help google crawl the website more often and eventually if I can get more organic users, I can also gain more organic search traffic.

I am not expecting to be a top site, though a few thousand uniques to the site each month to the blog or the forum through search traffic would be valuable to me and enough to monetize decently. Even a moderately active forum could add value if I see the site if I choose to sell it down the line.
