awesome game. ive played it through on singleplayer at least 10 times. mutliplayer cops and crooks is awesome too. it still doesnt beat classic vice city though.

Awesome game, better with a friend so you and him/her can run riot over the city, destroying any cop, player, pedestrian, or car that gets in the way.

It's really just play style differences I suppose. GTA still will sell over 6 million copies within its first weeks of release and saints row will not even touch 350 k after a month though. I've played saints row 2 and 1 so i'm not just talking out of my ass.. i really don't enjoy the crappy cartoon graphics and the total crap storylines. Owning your own gang was really cool for a while and building the apartments etc kept me playing but after a while it just got so tiring.Hobbies230 said:It was just announced for a 2011 holiday release. And yes realism is important in lots of games.

I know it is, but I hate the argument that if a game isn't realistic then it's bad. There's a dreadful trend in the industry right now where realistic = good, unrealistic = bad, and that just ain't true. We need more games that breach the boundaries of realism, I'm so sick of this gritty, grungey, grey scale so-called realism.katy perry is hot said:

Goofiness would go terrible with games that have strong storylines (ala Heavy Rain or Alan Wake) but with a game where I'm going around as a gangster screwing around half the time I'd rather have fun than realism.
If GTA was more realistic, we'd be spending time getting raped in prison than actually playing. realism =/= good, just look at generic fps #105 vs. bulletstorm.
