What do you guys think about my GTA Forum! It the first of Many in my upcoming games network! I just need opinions on it and what I could do better, What do you guys think?
Hello! You have a nice looking forum. VBulletin always does a good job of making them. I like what you did with the place and topics are fairly spread out! The text is very clear and concise, just the right size. Here's some things I'd suggest to make your forum a bit better.
1. The position of the search bar. This seems a little random and out of place, I'd find a way to either reposition it or try and delete it (I mean, who uses it anyway?!) . If not, it's not a big deal it just seems stuck out there. It's a rectangle of white in the midst of all that dark color.
2. Your affiliates. The "YOURLINK,YOURLINK,YOURLINK,YOURLINK,YOURLINK" stuff is a bit unprofessional. I'd wait until you get some affiliates before adding this to the forum otherwise it just tells people they're isolated. Which is bad in terms of traffic. So try and see what you can do with what you can and see if you can get it to look a bit more inline. FINALLY
3. The activity. It's going ok so far. I would suggest you keep promoting it no matter what. Also try and give the members some incentives like forum contests. I see you thought of this, yet it is completely empty. This may be fine if your forum is pretty new but in the future, I'd hope to see something in that category. 😀
