Do you offer Guess Access for your visitors who want to use your wi-fi? My husband set up a guest account when we had a technician at the house asking if he could have our wi-fi password. No way was I going to give him that. Now they can use the Guest account and that password gets changed often.

Nope, if I want people on my network, I let them use the main account. If I don’t, best have cellular service.

Nope, my guest is disabled, I do not even feel safe having it on. Even it was limited and you can set it up so that only 1GB can be used a day. Still got that factor of having the wrong people using it and then BANG.

Anyway, I do not want anyone or strangers using it while I'm streaming. 100% of the time most visitors that come to your home to do work or whatever have their phones on them with their own server's data.

Our Guest access is not fully open, it requires a password set by us.

One way to preserve privacy is to delete the browser history. You can also delete the cache for better speed. Well, this can be better than separate passwords.

You would have to do the browser history etc. every time you stop using the computer.

I do have guest wifi for visitors, but this too is password protected on another router connected to my main hub so its on its own network that i can control for saftey, so my main network is mainly for hard wired etho cable.

Why not? I’ll give out my wifi password to whoever comes over, it’s no biggie.

I used to have one, but my old Router's settings for it were fairly poor and I moved on away from it. I never got around to setting it up on our new router.

I don't have a guest account. My hubby and I are the only ones that use the wi-fi at our house.

I'm not big on letting someone else use my wifi. I mean, my hubby and I have to pay for it so why should we let someone else use it for free?

Our main wifi access have a bunch of randomized letters, numbers, and characters. So we have a Guest access that's less complicated that we use to share when we have folks over.

End of the day they have their phones on them with unlimited data and if they ask nicely I give them the password

Never thought about creating a guest account since the only people that tend to use Wifi at my place are immediate family or visiting family/friends who I don't mind using it

Best to not offer such a thing, someone downloads something illegal, it's you who will face the consequences.

No. I don't offer guest access. But I do let my 2 kids and my girlfriend use it on all of their devices. So It's not like I'm not sharing it.

I’ve given my wifi password to plenty of visitors. I don’t worry too much about it. If I didn’t trust them, they wouldn’t be in my house. 😛
