Hello, I'm a hairdresser and nail tech and I've tried every colour possible! But I wanna hear you experiences with colours and what your favourite toners/ colours or even shampoos are! Please post pics if you have any too! Thanks! I'll get and post a few of mine too!

I'm not posting pics, as I don't do that anywhere on the internet at all.
But I'm a dude with long hair, and I remember a few years ago I went in for a trim and told the hairdresser how much to take off...And they decided to take it upon themselves to decide for me that I should have about triple that amount cut off...
I was pissed. And had to go to my job interview looking ridiculous.

Oh my god! I've heard a few stories like that, although I've had a personal experience of asking for one style and leaving with something not even half as much as I wanted off, which has left me feeling the client knows best! Haha 🙂

I don't get my hair done a lot simply because my hair color is apparently hard for people to get the highlight color that I want. Every time I get my hair done the highlights are either goldish looking or blonde and that doesn't look good with my hair color IMO. I'm currently just letting the old highlights that I have grow out. She didn't even go all the way to the top with them too and I was kind of angry because I feel like I didn't get $100 worth of a hair treatment.

It's bad but I've heard so many stories of this happening! It's all down to how close the colourist places the foil and paints to the head, their really is no excuse for it! Apart from them not wanting to go too far and burn the scalp. It's all just about being neat! You should have complained definately if you wernt happy Hun! 🙂

That is so good to hear! Haha oh that's so true, it just takes a listening ear! Haha I think we are trained in all different ways and some think they know best! Haha but equally there are some fab hairdressers/barbers out there! 🙂

Agreed there are some great ones. The ones who think they know best, however, need to realise it's not the hair that frame their mug.

You're right there! Tea tree oil or Argan oil are the best for dry or unhealthy hair! A life saver!
