4 years ago I made a thread about hating Hallmark Christmas movies...and here I am this week watching some of them LOL I guess I really am excited for Christmas this year!
Yes, yes, the way most of those movies are written following a specific formula and it's cheesy, but I always know there will be a happy ending. And maybe that's what I need to see this year.
Hallmark Christmas movies are cheesy, cliche, and have the same plot most of the time, but I think they are quite engaging. I am a suck for romance anyway, especially holiday themed.
It's been 10 days and I find that I'm so annoyed again by these movies LOL Here comes the tree lighting countdown, here comes the gliding down the staircase, here comes the oh no, things might not work out and then the big kiss. Can't we just have a little bit different stuff happening? Just once.
My daughter once used my Amazon Prime login (I think) to watch the first few minutes and then abandon a multitude of these movies leaving me with a list that I could only get rid of by fast forwarding through every single one to the end. I was NOT amused!
