The preview for this movie is okay, but I don't really get the whole 'ghost' concept. But, I'm ready to watch it when it hits theatres. -surprise-
Are you guys going to see this?

Is this following the recent remake of Halloween? The one that recently came out (year or two ago). If it is then it might be ok but considering they seem to think he cant die makes it lame.

If you've seen all the Halloween movies then you'll know he's unstoppable!

lol I do think that Halloween and Friday The 13th gets stupid after the first few movies. I'll see this movie when it comes out though. I actually think that Rob Zombie's first remake was quite good. There's so many haters on the movie though. Dunno why, I thought it was fairly decent. 🙂

The problem is you can see why Freddy is always coming back, because he comes back through fear of him. You can see why Jason comes back, because he can only die through demons dragging him to hell. But Michael his flesh and blood, no zombie or nothing. He is a human, but it one of the movies he gets shot like 30 times, no one could survive that. But he does...thats when it gets really stupid.

He was meant to die anyway in the second original Halloween, thats why number 3 didnt have him in...but public wanted him so they brought him back. So i hope this is the last movie of him and Zombie doesnt make the mistake of bringing him back again.

First one was good, but i dont think it could beat the original.

This one is suppose to be good as well. I like the preview, but it wasn't all that great.

I was excited for H2, until It was announced Rob Zombie would be directing and writing again.

I thought the remake was absolutely dreadful, and it butchered the name Halloween, one of (and IMO best) horror films ever made. Rob Zombie has full creative freedom with this one so it will only be worse, I'd like to save my judgment until I've seen it but after watching the previews and interviews with Rob Zombie, and the fact that his film style hasn't changed once over his past 3 horror movies, I'm positive it won't be any better than the remake.

It will have the same theme as his other 3 films: Lots of terribly written "white-trashy" dialogue, lots of messed up backwards "white-trashy" characters who can't go 30 seconds without saying f**k, and lots of distasteful nudity (eg: rape, etc.).

So i hope this is the last movie of him and Zombie doesn't make the mistake of bringing him back again.
If H2 does good enough at the box office, their will be an H3 -🙁

I dont think it will do that good though, i mean H1 (remake) didnt do to well.

The remake was terrible, so I agree with you Mr. Bond. The worst part about the remake was when the woman kills Michael and starts randomly screaming. That was just stupid and unneeded. And get this, almost all of the people murdered in the remake were having sex. It's like some kind of "porn massacre" if you ask me, lol.

I agree on the ending. Have you seen the alternate ending that was originally filmed? But was replaced, it ended the movie so much better. I didn't/don't have a problem with sex scenes (you should not watch the new Friday The 13th then ~lol~ ), they are part of the slasher film formula.

Apparently they are going to remake Nightmare on Elm Street, and they are going to make a Freddy vs. Jason 2 with Michael in.

The remake was ok, Nothing special. The original was much better.

Halloween 2 Trailer Info

Done my first Blog entry on it yesterday so it's not that great.

Anyway, I didn't mind the Zombie Remake to be honest, I dunno why everyones hating it. Look at some of the previous halloweens. Season of the Witch = WTF and H20 = crap.

I'm looking forward to this one and time will tell 😛

Season of the Witch was never meant to have Michael in. He was supposed to have died in number 2, so they moved onto other things. It was only from the high demand from fans wanting Michael back that he came back in number 4. But i agree H20 was shoddy.

Which leads to - Halloween isn't Halloween without Myers! Hence why it was crap 😛

But yeah, I don't think Halloween could be right without Jamie Lee Curtis or Michael Myers.

When Jamie died in Resurrection I just thought WTF. She could have at least died in a better Halloween movie!

Halloween 3 is a really good film. If you take a minute to let the fact that it's a Halloween film without Michael Myers in it not effect your judgement you might realize it's a decent 80's horror flick with a creepy (but unique) plot and a lot of cool Halloween atmosphere.

I wish it would of done better at the box office so Carpenter could of gone on with his anthology idea, to create a new different Halloween themed film each year, but since H3 didn't do good at the box office he sold off his rights to the series and the studio went to back to what made money.

Apart from the obvious Scream influence in H20, it was much better than part 5 or 6 IMHO.
