Halloween Editorial Team Contest

Hey everyone!

I'm pleased to announce the Halloween Editorial Team Contest! This contest will test your writing skills by having you write a story that relates to Halloween. For some writing can be daunting, so feel free to use this contest as a way to hone on your writing skills and improve, and we are happy to also provide feedback as well. 🙂 Here is how the contest will work:
  • Your submission must relate to Halloween.
  • Your submission must be appropriate for the community and must follow the FP Guidelines.
  • Multiple submissions are not allowed and once a submission has been sent in, no modifications can be made.
  • Submissions will be judged by the Editorial Team Members and other select FP Team Members. As this is a writing contest, please note also your grammar, spelling, and other mechanics will be looked at and can contribute to the selection of a winner.
  • 3 winners will be selected and given the appropriate titles of 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place, with one additional slot of Honorable Mention. Prizes will be given out for each slot, and those who are selected as winners will be provided the necessary details to claim their rewards.
Submissions will be accepted until October 31st, 2016 at 00:00EST hours.

The Prizes are as follows:

1st Place: 1 Free Ruby Package, 1 Free Advanced Review, and 1000FP$.
2nd Place: 1 Free Sapphire Package, 1 Free Seasoned Review, and 500FP$.
3rd Place: 1 Free Emerald Package, 1 Free Intermediate Review, and 250FP$.
Honorable Mention(1): 1 Free Basic Review, and 100FP$.

I think members might be more motivated to join if they knew what the prizes were, but oh well :laughing:

I'm gonna try to get something in for this. Is there a minimum or maximum for the length?

Yay, Kik is joining in! 😀 No specific limitations, but I'd like to see something that isn't going to be elementary per se. And the prizes have been edited into the OP. 😀
