Personally i think the portal is fine and i like the forum style too. There are some empty forums though so it might be good to start a few topics thee to get your members posting there.
The first thing I noticed is the logo look terrible, and it doesn't have any transparency. Another thing I noticed was that I couldn't find a link to the forum on the portal, and that I couldn't find a link back to the portal on the forum.

I don't see anything wrong with the logo. I think if you used the halo font on it then it would look better.
Other than that, the style is quite nice and it looks like your stats are beginning to build up. I reckon if you got your members to post more topics in all of the forums, then more posts would be generated, and then you'll end up with an active forum with lots of posts ~cheesey_grin~
