I run a forum on xeneforo and I was curious if there was an add on for that you know when happy hour is and when you post it like double or something

XenForo has a built in notice system that you can schedule notices to appear. Changing credit amounts at those times would have to be customized into working correctly, otherwise it will just run the preset highest amount you have defined in the addon.

I don’t remember how I did it well enough to provide a walkthrough, but basically:
1. Use the notice system to show a notice at that given time (as Josh said)
2. Set up a chron job inside the xF ACP to run a script
3. Set up a payment quantity in the credit system that will pay out the happy hour amounts.
4. The script inside the chron job will turn that payment quantity on or off based on the time of day. Every hour, it checks to see if happy hour is going on. If so, it makes a SQL query to turn it on. Else, it turns it off.

Don't take this the wrong way, but there are a lot of better ways to say this. Threats to archive a topic will never defuse any situation, or help any conversations get back on topic. If it was solely my decision, I would've put this topic in the "Technical Support" forum, since it really doesn't have much to do with FP and is instead about an addon. However, I'm no longer an admin. Just my two cents. 😛
Agreed, I can definitely do that now, But wasn't thought about until now.
