They are busy working on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! (Which will be five movies) This is also from the same Harry Potter Universe.
I haven't read it yet either. It's not really a book. it's a script of a play. TBH, they also changed a lot of things that I'm not really a fan of. Like the kids going back in the past and screwing things up. I don't consider it canaon.
I have read this and like Jordan said, it is the script of a play so it's not going to read like a normal Harry Potter book. I'm going to use a spoiler to discuss my thoughts so that I don't spoil anything for people who still want to read it.
There are some things that are different in it but I find it interesting. The only reason that things have changed is because Harry's son, Albus Severus, decided he wanted to try to fix something in the past that he thought his dad wouldn't mind changing. So he uses a time turner to go back in time but he ends up screwing things up even worse instead of fixing things like he though he would.

Don't speak too soon. People say this all the time yet a movie pops up. I can name a lot of movies where the cast/directors have said they will not make such and such into a movie and what happens? Take the horror Saw for instance.

First of all, there were two other people involved in writing this along with J. K. Rowling. In wasn't just J. K. writing this herself like with the original books. Secondly, I thought the story was interesting but I realize that is my personal opinion.
