20 years before this very day, the HPverse was thrown open to the world outside. I, as always, was skeptical of the books, but I made up my mind to read it from the beggining and ever since, I havent felt even the slightest remorse for all the leisure and studies I traded for Harry Potter. They taught me that help should always be given to those who ask for it. It instilled in me the subtle ability to love my enemies and those who offend me because Dumbledore had told that even the finest wizards err. And Snape, gave me the reason why I should love 'always' even if the world thinks otherwise. The impact on me was so profound that I took to having my own online discussion website, staffed three forums and roleplayed 15 different characters with those who, like me, were influenced with this amazing piece of literature.
Dear JKR, like you authored - words are your most inexhaustible source of magic and thankyou for giving a generation of amazing kids, a book to read, a work of imagination to chew upon and a story to behold. To all of us including my humble self, you taught that despite the countless nameless people we slaughter for the most important persons in our life, if the wiseman makes a mistake, they walk away but yet, the scars they leave behind can be useful. Thankyou so much for making my childhood magical and giving me a book I can point out to my kids, being assured that it will take them a long way ahead of their journey too
