I don't know about you but I have lost a lot of respect for Harry Redknapp after he left Portsmouth for Tottenham. I don't know anyone who would go to Tottenham at the minute, especially if you are managing Portsmouth, a team on the up.

It was obviously for money.

I totally agree with you. He is greedy, I hope his house burns down and he loses his posessions. Would servce him right. He said ''I loved pompey'' yet he left them just for money? He's a lying twat.

Everyone I have spoken to has lost all respect for him. He is a liar and just in it for the money.

He did really mess up moving there. He didn't move there for footballing reason thats for sure.

Definitely for money, i can't think of any other reason -🙂-

He might of wanted to move to London -lol-

And theres always the fact he may have family in london etc, but still, meh, it was the money ~lol~

They could of waited until the match against Bolton and then sacked them - it was pretty obvious that Ramos was going to get the sack but they have done it right by sacking Comolli as well with him - big unfair that Poyet got the boot as he was the main voice for Tottenham and has had months of sticking up for Ramos in interviews

I just don't see how getting in Redknapp at this point in time will do any good - he's going to want his own team for a start and is'nt able to buy for another 8 weeks - i guess he can start their better players and play them in position to start with - Redknapp is a decent manager but a moaning one at that - moans about everything - the other thing with him is he is'nt very loyal to his clubs - as soon as a better offer comes along he is off

However it is a chance to manage a bigger club - and at 61 he is'nt going to get a better chance really than Tottenham - will be interesting to see how wel he does though

A 2-0 win from his first game wasn't bad at all, as a pompey fan I am displeased that he went, although I am pleased with Tony Adams being the replacement. I hope he can do something for the team against Liverpool, because I get the impression we will lose that game. Even if we get 1 point that will be huge for us.

I think tomorrow and Wednesday night will be huge for the premier league, it should really liven the table up. ~smile~

He done it with Southampton to.

Surely though Portsmouth have more than Spurs at the minute and Pompey are a team on the up unlike Spurs at the moment.

Pompey i thought were going to be better then Spurs and Portsmouth probably could attract better players. They have alot of decent players at the moment like Johnson, James, Crouch and Defoe and always looking to bring in more where as Spurs seem to be getting rid of all theirs.

Not really, both are in Europe, Pompey are a decent outfit but Spurs are a much bigger club thats for sure, history speaks for itself at the end of the day. Spurs might be going through a bad state of times at the moment but their better than that, Pompey might be doing better at the moment but that will change as time goes on, Pompey proved how poor they were without Redknapp the last time he left, and just how much they improved with him back at the club.

Redknapp's first signings with be James, Diarra and Defoe. It's clear he dosn't rate Gomes, he always goes on about David James being the best keeper he has ever worked with so that all but says he will move in for him. Diarra is a player he talks about being the next Viera and will put some balls into the Spurs midfield, Defoe loved Tottenham and it was clear to see, but never got his chances, he would move back in a flash, Spurs have money so will pay the odds for whoever Redknapp wants.

It's going to be interesting to see who else leaves the doors of Fratton Park, Redknapp had a huge influence on all the players he managed to sign, he was the only reason they signed. Adams dosn't have an impressive CV as yet with only Wycombe on it that he managed and had a nightmare.
