Has a teacher ever changed your life?

Not in any positive way. The majority of the teachers I encountered were thugs or worse.
lol I've had a few teachers who didn't like me at all destroy my emotions and make me feel 3 inches tall.
I had a science teacher who told me everyday that I probably wasn't going to amount to anything.
I had an art teacher who took joy in destroying my confidence; I have a mental block towards drawing and painting because of her. She retired a few years ago. I feel like the school should have fired her the way she treated everyone. She obviously hated kids.

I've had a few to show me amount of love to keep me going on the right path, I'm very grateful for them.

I can’t think of any that were overly helpful. A few were good at their job, helped us students learn & grow. Then there were others that were complete jerks 🙂

I had the same experience.
My mom was a teacher though (she's retired). All my friends that had her as a teacher said that they enjoyed her class. I even knew people that said they hated the subject that she taught or they said they sucked at the subject she taught, however, they said they enjoyed going to her class despite those facts. I think that's a sign that you're a good teacher......that people enjoy going to your class despite the fact that they don't care for whatever subject you teach.
That's the same way I felt. It was mostly negative attention. At least one of them hated their job so much that when they got annoyed at us students they would start dishing out in-school or after-school detentions or tell us to go to the office. Sometimes all you had to do was just be present in the classroom to get wrote up because you looked at them wrong.
