Has anyone started using Substack?

Substack is a free way of starting a paid newsletter.

You don't have to spend money but once you start making money, Substack will take a cut from it.

It's deemed very effective for creators looking to monetize.

Have any of you started using it and have anyone applied it in some way to their communities?

Ah, hadn't heard of it until now. So it's free until you want to start charging people to read what you write? Do people really pay these days?

I have never heard of it before until now. It seems interesting.. so will have to do some of my own research on it.

I had considered it using it as an alternative to WordPress but felt it was too limiting.

I have account, I have even published a podcast and a blog post but that was a long time ago.

Substack is extremely popular among tech and politics writers. There are several who earn a million a year with their subscribers.

I subscribe to a few (free ones) related to AI and digital marketing.
