When Musk bought Twitter, a lot of people left the site, but others still linger. Has his ownership changed your marketing? Do you still continue to post on Twitter for your website? Is it doing well or is it suffering because of the new ownership?

I myself have still been using Twitter since Elon Musk bought the company but I will admit that I don't tend to use it as much as I used to and I also have noticed a huge difference in how many people see my tweets now as well which has affected any kind of promoting that I do.

I haven't actually used Twitter to promote my current communities. However, seeing how Elon took over if you don't have Twitter Blue your posts aren't being seen as much as those who are paying for Twitter Blue. So if you're planning on using the platform for advertising, then you'll have to pay some money to get noticed. I am curious to know if anyone here has Twitter Blue and is using the platform to promote their websites though. I'd like to hear if it's worth it.

Twitter has changed big time, it's all new and means that new API ;( IPS can't update till X is done doing what they are doing and also means that it does mess up things for websites like mine since login and register are no longer working via twitter.

Promotion feed also is messed up.

I've never had much of an interest in Twitter as I don't have an account. One thing I have noticed during the last few weeks is a lot of empty embedded Twitter feeds. I get the impression it's a dying platform.

My sister said that Twitter once gave her useful tweets and now it's all garbage. Something really got messed up.

It was trash before the buyout. I don't know what posts she's referring to, but it was worse before the buyout. It was a leftist website. Extreme Left. Not the moderates. Over there, to the left, where socialism is celebrated.

What changed for me? The website is currently blocked off, walled off. I understand why he did it, but... I rely on Twitter for pageranking. All the Twitter pesedo crawlers went away. I'm already shadowbanned via reach on my main account. So I rely on my bigger accounts to push traffic to my sites.

I only post sometimes on twitter mainly for marketing, the Twitter purchase definitely increased the media coverage.

Some tweet replies are going missing from tweets now so he has definitely ruined the app as its not functioning as it should.
