Oh my parents are funny. They were talking last night about the McDonalds commercial that was advertising all day breakfast, and my parents are just like, "Whatever happened to the pound symbol? What are hashtags and these 'emojis?" - explaining it to them was fun too. 😛

Anyone elses parents confused about hashtags as well?

My mother understands somewhat regarding them. Meanwhile, it takes forever to explain stuff to my father, because he doesn't spend time on the internet socializing with people.

Lucky for me my mother has yet to be exposed to them...somehow 😕 But I'm sure when she will be than there will be a whole discussion about that.

My parents get the emojis, because they both have iPhones. But hashtags are on a totally different level with them.

My parents know what hashtags and emojis are. They don't really use hashtags though, while they use emojis.

My parents have no idea what hashtags or emojis are. I think they couldn't care less to find out. They're not very advanced, they stick with the old times. :lol:
