Were you able to create an offline forum event for your community members? For instance, maybe you orchestrated a get-together at a sci-fi convention or hosted a dinner at a local restaurant. What activities did your offline forum event include?

It's fun to meet people if they share the same thoughts as of yours - but for me, it takes, considerable to time to say 'yes' to a meet. But as such events are not yet scheduled but I'd like to schedule in near future.

I've never personally done it on one of my forums but I've been a part of some forums that have done it. I think it's kind of risky because there's all types of weird people on the internet but if it's a close knit community, it's pretty cool meeting up together.
I would love to have the opportunity to do that, sounds like fun! 😀

I would love to... But most members of my site live in other countries. And even then they're all spread out in those countries too. So picking one place to meet would be rather difficult.
That and for now we're not really large enough to warrant having a meeting. I mean if we had like a few thousand or so members then maybe.

I absolutely would love to do something like this, however most members live in different parts of the world so this probably will never happen anytime soon. But anything is possible, I know one of the Sonic communities I'm part of host a meetup in London every year, it'd be nice to go to one sometime but I live in the US... 😛
