Have you ever been in a parade?

When I was a Girl Scout leader, my troop participated in a couple of parades to hand out candy. They thought it was the best thing ever!! And when I was younger, I joined in with the other kids who were part of the library reading club to help make the float and we dressed up for our country's bicentennial to walk alongside said float. It was 99 degrees out and I was wearing a heavy dress with long sleeves. I had to stop and get pulled out of it because the route was very long. Then someone took me to McDonalds. yay

I've been in at 3 parades from when I was a little boy. Mainly Thanksgiving and Christmas. We used to throw candy out for the other kids.

yes, I have indeed when I Was a little boy 😉 I Was part of a dancing school and we got picked to take part in the Christmas parade we ended up sitting on an ancient school truck with Santa on his seat and passing out sweets.

Many years ago, back when I was in high school and used to volunteer at the library, we participated in a couple Christmas parades.

I have been in a parade before. I was around 7 years old and I was chosen by my school to take part in a float for a parade that was The Flintstones themed.

I dressed as Bambam and had a lot of fun but boy was I cold when we reached the end of the parade line and was happy my mum and grandma met me there with a jacket and a warm drink 🙂
