I've only been pulled over once, for speeding. Then I couldn't find my insurance card... But I was really polite and apologetic, and the trooper just gave me some kind of temporary warning to call in with proof of insurance. Once I did, everything was fine.

It drives my partner crazy because I often speed, but never get pulled over and the one time I did, I didn't even get in trouble. Meanwhile, he's gotten two tickets in one week hahaha.

I've been driving for like the last six years now, and I've gotten two speeding tickets in that time span. Definitely deserve a lot more than that.

My parents went to California for 3 weeks, so my girlfriend and I were house / dog sitting for them.
I just picked them up from JFK last night & on the way back, I got pulled over by a cop. I asked why I was being pulled over & he said it was because the registration was expired. It was my dad's car and he had no idea, so luckily the cop let us go without a ticket!

I did however get a ticket around 2 years ago for driving with my phone in my hand.
I was using my GPS :/

It probably depends on the cop, too, like if he's had a rough day he might be more likely to issue a ticket.

It helps to be cute even if you're not young 😛
