At some point in our lives we may find ourselves that the workplace has too many staff or you fail to keep within the rules set within your contract...therefore you are fire/redundant/dismissed. Its a sad feeling, after going through myself just recently.
I am trying to not put myself down too much about this but at the moment I'm finding it hard. I guess by focusing on other projects takes my mind of it..i guess. Hopefully get a new job soon *fingers crossed*
Don't let the situation make you think you are any less valuable as it is the company that changed and not you. The best thing to do is to keep searching for a new job and not let your current situation tear you down into thinking no one wants you and the skills you possess. You could also use the opportunity to seek new skills and perhaps a new job which could be good in the long run. You can either see this as a blessing or a curse as it's all up to you to decide how you see it.
I can't say I know of the feeling myself as I been in the same job for the past 13 years which is also the first job I ever had.
I've actually worked to get fired at a certain job so I could get unemployment benefits and take a vacation from work while I looked for a new job. Found one 2 months later. The job I wanted to get fired from was just a dead end retail job that wouldn't look good on my resume or help me get ahead in life. I didn't need them, but I did need the unemployment money. 😛
i was fired only one time from a newspaper agency. You can say I quit the job.I was a customer relation officer in office and job the job they given to me was to promote the company.I was at sea in marketing.I requested them to change my position and they said me to leave.i happily left my job.
