I've always wondered if it's worth spending the money. I've heard that all inclusive deals is what one should shoot for. Have you ever taken vacation on a cruise? Is it worth it in your opinion?

Never have, never will. It's my idea of a nightmare. Stuck on a floating hotel/giant petri dish with a bunch of tourists? No way. IMO, it's the opposite of a good vacation.

Ben on ships and bouts in my life but not as on Holiday cruise. It's fun sleeping while the waves are heavy 😛

Went for the first time right before the pandemic hit, and we really enjoyed it. It was lovely to see all the different destinations, and we became somewhat famous because we sang karaoke in the bars at night. We had people stopping us on the street in Mexico asking if we were going to sing again that night.

YES! I went on an amazing trip with a big group of friends and it was a Carnival cruise. If it had just been myself and my husband I would not have enjoyed it as much, but with the big group I could spend time with each person doing different things and we always ate dinner in the evenings together. The food was spectacular and you can eat as much as you want!

We were supposed to go to Mexico but a hurricane got in our way so we went elsewhere and it was still a nice time. We didn't sign up for any excursions but hired a driver to take us around the island and that was interesting.

No it's not something that really appeals to me, especially at the moment with the pandemic going on!!

I've been on one cruise ship for a family reunion about 8 years ago and it was awesome! I especially like the all you can eat buffets! I hope to go on more cruises in the future!

Even though I love the water, cruises never appealed to me. Being stuck on a boat, albeit a big boat, in the middle of an ocean is not my idea of fun. However, I can see how others would enjoy going to different places they wouldn't have been able to via a vehicle.

Never have. But I think it would be a fun new experience.

I had family members go on one, and they typically liked them. The biggest thing that got them to like the cruises they went on, was the option to do additional stuff off the ship, like tours of the locations that the ship docks at, scuba diving and a few other things that gets you away from the ship.
