They're old school! When the WWW first started getting popular and we all began doing webpages, doing animated gifs and blinking images was all the rage.

I only really got online a few years before Web 2.0 so I missed the Web 1 days.

I've never used them, but I do see them from time to time still on Proboards forums and I've even seen some on Tapatalk Group forums too.

I have seen these before and I have used them before in the past but this is the first time I have seen them in a while. I honestly didn't realize they were still a thing, to be honest. I remember having one created for me years back on a forum with my username it was purple and it looked awesome! I do know you can make them yourself as well but I have never looked into that.
