Heres mine:
I was on the bay bridge (the bridge that connects oakland to san francisco) and my car broke down and before it did it let out a huge cloud of smoke, well on a bridge there is no where to pull over and I was stopped and thru the cloud behind me I see head lights, well I braced myself for impact (death, my life flashed before my eyes) and my foot hit pushed on the breaks because my legs stiffened as I braced my self.. Well I guess the hummer saw my break lights and jerked the wheel and just hit the side of me instead of smashing into me. Needless to say I jumped out of that car (as soon as the shock wore off) because I didnt want someone else smashing into me. Well a few minutes later the highway patrol pulled up and pushed me off the bridge. I called my friend's aunt who lived in San Francisco (at the time) to come get me.

Loads of times, the most recent one was the other day where a car when round this road really quick i think it was 30mph road and he was going 50mph and i was crossing and it was about a foot away from me when it passed me after i finished crossing and that is only because i ran the last bit otherwise i would have been hit..

It's when you think/are almost dead, but you end up not being dead and alive.

many times in cars. A few real bumpy plane rides. But I had to do CPR 2 times many years ago when i was a lifeguard. Each time the person recovered so it was near death for them, but I was directly involved.

I have another one, when I was seven or eight I was over at a friends house swimming. My friends older brother (for some reason) decided to hold me under the water and not let me up to breath. I passed out and woke up with his mom giving me mouth to mouth. I coughed up the water and was fine but I could have drowned. The older brother was very sorry for what he did because he didnt think he was holding me under for that long. His parents took it as a very serious thing and put him in therapy and then sent him off to boarding school.

ive had that before they think its all a joke and a laugh but they take it too far anyway i just go nuts and push them ~biggrin~

Similar thing with me, i was racing with some friends down the pool doing the proper racing breast stroke, and i swallowed loads of water and started choking.

Lifeguard didnt do anything even when my friends dragged me out of the pool and then i coughed it up. I was really scared though and the lifeguard still hadnt noticed.

I should have sued them.

I've been in a lorry when the brakes failed
going down a steep hill. Terrifying experience.
We ended up in one of those gravel traps
just before a bend in the road. Goodness
knows where we'd have ended up otherwise. ! ~eeeek~

When I got out, my legs almost gave way
beneath me.

That sounds pretty scary.
