I have never had an ownership change on my forum.

Yes, I have had ownership change on my forums a few times in the past.

Yes, actually. Once I just lost the spunk to really run one of my forums, and gave it to my co-admin. He then deleted all the members and pretty much ruined my site.

So that's the last time I'm doing that. :lol:

Yeah, yeah it is. Trust and the internet world sadly do not really mix anymore.

No, if I create a forum I stick to it until the end. If the forum was still going strong and there were extenuating circumstances I would consider it.

I once had a forum dedicated to chess called Chess Tips and it was a pretty cool concept where people can start a new thread(game) and someone joins you and you play by noting your moves. It worked out well for a while but when life got hectic I decided to give to it away. Whenever I took the time to get back to the forum I discovered that it no longer existed. I guess the person I gave it to closed it down. *shrugs*

More recently I sold my general forum Seeking Social to Sapett - I think he is doing a fantastic job with it. 😀

Yes, but while the forum was still new though.

If you do it while you got active members and such then it will probably kill the activity out.
