Have you ever run a big event IRL?

Have you ever run a big event in real life? I've run quite a number of them and have been in charge a couple of times too.

I have one for a church group next spring and I'm planning for it now. Anyone who knows me, knows I like to plan months in advance for things.

If you've run events, what were some things you wish you had thought of for it before it happened? What turned out to be a surprising accident that went well?

If you count parties at my house then yes. My daughters graduation party had over 75 people and required quite a bit of planning, setup and whatnot.
