Have you ever run into a cactus?

One time, I was at my grandma's house. My brother was pretty young at the time--two or three at the most. Long story short, he tripped and fell and was impaled by cactus needles. It was a particularly gruesome experience since my grandma had to take the cactus needles out of him one by one.

Have you ever run into (or fallen into) a cactus?

I have not, I have however watched kids fall into the giant cactus we had in the front yard when I was around 6. 😛

No, but through my high school years I used to unleash my angst on one on my Dad's property with a hockey stick.
I killed it.

I remember getting a few needles from cactus's when I was younger, and lived where there was cactus's growing.

I've seen a few videos of people doing it and I can tell it hurts really bad.

No. But I remember when I was 5-6 years old... grabbing a cactus and getting the stickers stuck in my hand causing it to sting, itch ,and swell.

I remember it taking almost 2 days for the pain and soreness to subside. But I did learn a lesson not to mess with a cactus.

Yeah, it seems when you're really young like that, you have a lot of things to learn from, lol. But yeah. I was very careful around them after that. 😛
