Have You Twittered yet?

By now every member on this forum should know about twitter.

BUT

What do you think of it?

Since installing a twitter mod on 2 of my forums I have received several Link Exchanges with similar themed sites.

For those of you who are interested the two twitters are www.twitter.com/paranormalhaunt and www.twitter.com/parascifi

If you wish to follow one of these twitters please feel free to do so. I am NOT

writing this post to gain more twits( followers :rofl: ) and will not follow just anyone.

I am proud to say i have never used it and i will be happy to never use it. It doesn't appeal to me and everyone will get bored of it soon when the next craze starts.

Hmmm. Twitter is alright I guess. I don't really use it though. Really not my style of things, but if I don't have a twitter on for my more professional sites, people always say..
"y dont u hav a twitter? D:"

I use it, but it's useless really. It's just a blog/IM program combined.

My website, Free Advertising Today, has a Twitter page. It is used to share quick updates and share stats, though we haven't shared stats yet. 🙂 For my members who really want to get quick news, updates and stats our Twitter page is for them.

When I post a link to a thread on my forum, to Twitter it generally gets about 30 clicks within a few minutes. However, the visitors generally don't join the forum or reply to the thread.

I don't really like Twitter. Bit pointless if you ask me. The only people who really have a use for it are celebs.

I am not really used to twitter but I am currently using one, more to 'promote' my boards than anything else.

I tend to talk long so quick messages doesn't appeal to me =\
