I just started a new forum. Since it's a money making forum and all, I've created a way for my members to make money by posting on my forum. We are having a $100 posting contest that just started. You can read all of the rules and ways to earn on my forum at www.RichForum.Net.
I know the forum has no posts/content right now, thats because its really brand new. So drop by, say hello. Let me know what you think about the contest, thanks.
You honestly should wait for activity, first. Cause if your forum doesn't pick up early on, 1 member could win the $100 by posting very little amount of posts. And if you refuse to pay cause the contest didn't go as planned, you'll lose all credibility you had.
Good Luck, though. I just don't think it's a wise idea to do a big contest like this as soon as opening, until you have activity to make it more successful.
I designed the contest so that this wont happen. One person will not be able to make 15,000 Posts. I think I need atleast 100 members for that, and thats all I am hoping for. I'm starting to work on the content now, but im hoping a few people will get interested.
Thats quite a lot of posts for a $100 competition. Also, when one person hits 7 501 posts**, they will automatically win, so its not that fair, and as well as what hcf stated.
