HawkHost No Images?

Hey,
I have just installed WordPress on my website, and it seems the images are not showing, the images do exist, I get this when I go to the direct link: 403 Forbidden Access to this resource on the server is denied!

There is no .htaccess file apart from the fresh WordPress one.

Which images are you referring to ?

Hmm how did you do the install ?

Have you uploaded the images to the correct folder ? Each theme should have it's own, have you activated a theme yet ?

I did the install by Softaclous installation. It's the default theme, have not done anything to it, just installed it..

Wordpress can be a bit tricky to install, it's best to use the wordpress install file, I've never had a problem doing it that way

Sounds totally weird

Have you opened the images file for the theme to see if they are there ?

I'm on Hawkhost too and never had a problem

The error is a 403 error so there is a greater issue somewhere even if the images aren't where they are supposed to be.

I know you have said you only have 1 htaccess file but there is obviously something wrong here so this is why I am asking this. Are you running multiple domains on 1 hosting account? If so, take a look at the other htaccess files. You may have hotlink protection or something like that.

Problem fixed, hotlink was causing it, thanks all for help.
