HawkHost

Virtual Private Server. All it means is that you get a little extra space, and you get to have more controll over your forum.

Not true at all. A VPS does not provide anymore control over your forum than what a shared hosting environment offers. A VPS has more reliability (in most cases) than a shared environment and is better for larger sites as it can handle them a lot better (dependent on the specs of each service).

I have only been using them a short time but really like them and better than my pervious host.

Ok, is it easy to move a site to Hawk? And is there much down time if I move a site ?

It is very easy to move into Hawk Host. If you are having trouble moving your files, after you buy hosting plan you can request for them to move all you stuff from you old hosting account by submitting ticket. All they will need is you info for your old host and they will do it within 5 days for free.

Well I think FP should use VPS because whenever I'm on FP with my iPhone, it's super laggy.
I think that is probably down to sites generally being slower on iPhones/iPod Touches (even if you use the same wifi as your PC/laptop). This site isn't optimized for mobile devices and is pretty image heavy which will make it seem slower. As you only mentioned it being slow on your iPhone and not on your PC/Laptop, I think the problem is mentioned above and not with us outgrowing our hosting package (which we aren't).
