First Impressions - (Out of 20)
I grew up a headbanger, i remember staying up saturday nights waiting for Mtv's Headbanger's Ball every weekend. And, for some reason, if it wasn't for the title in the banner; i wouldn't of thought it to be a place for a heavy metal community. Have you considered adding a new banner, like with instruments; or even concert footage images? The current banner, and the forum skin, just doesn't send the message on what the forum is about.
Maybe even consider adding some images to the forum's background around the forum border.
Don't get me wrong, i do like the skin, it's great, but something should be added to bring the forum some life. It's too clean for a metal forum. Some may think you haven't taken the time, in all this time, to personalize it with your forum's theme.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
Your forum set-up is of high quality. You've got everything important for members to check first, before moving on to the body of the forum. And i see that you do take every suggestion openly, and replied with satisfactory results when a suggestion comes up.
The body of the forum is great and has plenty for any headbanger to get involved with. For those about to rock is the perfect setup for this part of the forum. I can tell you justr added the video requests, and directory to the forum, and looks to be doing well in it's short presence to the forum.
The off-topic section seems like it has what needs to be there to take a break from the band. But, i don't understand all the sub-boards for advertising, with only 46 topics, and i'm sure a bunch of them from years ago, may just work in one board altogether. One thing i did find a little humorous, was the "religion/supernatural" sub-board in the ad section. I had to click it, and seen 4 sites actual advertised; though they weren't the religion i was expecting.

Forum Statistics - (Out of 20)
Your forum stats are very high in numbers, but when compared to the age of your forum, almost 4-5 years, it's actually quite low.
It's nice to see that over 1/3 of your registered members took the time to make an intro, and get involved with the community. And while looking around, was good to see a variety of different users posting in different boards recently.
I'm also very curious as to why you resetted the "most user online" just the other day? 4 doesn't sound as active as the old number, 141.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
You've got a dedicated staff team, some who have been with you for over 3 years, mighty impressive. But with only 5 total on staff, it might be time to add one more, maybe two.
You may be comfortable with what you have, and seems they are very trustworthy, but it's always good to have extra help when noone else might be around.

Spelling and Grammar - (Out of 20)
I clicked on a few random post, read every title , and description, even made sure you didn't accidentally mess up the ABC's in the video index. But everything's smooth, but one grammar issue, no biggy, but in you introductions decription.
and tell us a bit yourself <---- that was all i could catch, but it might be a bad one, since it's one of the firwst stop for ne members.
One category title that came to mind, while on your forum, was for the "off topic" section. Try make it something like, "Backstage Pass", or something ... has a nice ring that matches the forum theme. Like after the concert, everyone hangs out after the show .. just a suggestion i had to share.

Final Remarks:
Your forum has survived a long run, and doesn't look like it's going to be just another "one hit wonder" ... so now is the time to show members/staff your ready to go the next level. Make some changes, make a day ouy of it; and get something added for the forum theme's look. Some things may work, others won't , but you gotta risk it, and some will pay off.
What was most liked about the website/forums:
The longevity of the forum. It's been around for awhile; which shows the forum is going strong, and has a dedicated member/staff team behind it.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
The Banner, and the background of the forum. Was just a little too dull, when you expect something to be the life of the party. You may even want to check with our graphics teams here. They can make some great stuff, that'll impress you when you see their results.
How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website?
I'd have to be about 10 years younger, and have all my old metal cd's. I don't even know what metal music is like these days, and from what i've heard, sounds too chaotic. So i may not be interested myself, but work on showcasing your forum theme through the banner, skin, and background; and you'll have no problem getting "headbanger guests" wanting to stage dive in no time.
and sorry for all the puns, i just like to make my reviews personal to the forum's theme
